Growing Minds works with children who are struggling with big emotions, regulating themselves, anxiety and school absence.
At Growing Minds, I offer a safe space for children to work through their struggles in an open way, incorporating art, creativity and exercise into our sessions.
I work with children who struggle with anxiety, lack of confidence, behavioural struggles, lack of school attendance, friendship issues to name just a few.
I help children to adapt their mindset in a genuine, long-lasting way by coaching them strategies and techniques to get them back on track and keep them there.
I use a variety of scientifically researched cognitive approaches to help children help themselves through the difficulties of youth.
I use my life experience as a child, teacher and parent, and my qualifications, including a degree in psychology, to teach children how to feel better about themselves, to discover who they are and to have coping mechanisms when things aren't going to plan.
Growing Minds is about real life coaching and genuine mindset shift.
I am recruited by parents directly who are looking for support for their child. I am also recruited by schools who have identified a child or children who need support with their wellbeing and mental health, where an expert is needed rather than the basic pastoral support that a school can offer.
A booking of a minimum of six sessions is required to be able to build a bond with a child and make real progress and a long-lasting impact with their mental health.
